We are located in Torrance, California and primarily service the South Bay area including cities such as Torrance, Gardena, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, San Pedro, etc. We also provide service to areas such as West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Culver City, Long Beach and further!

Planning a Project
Typically, a remodeling project begins with a conversation about your expectations, a cost estimate, securing any necessary permits, and then moving into the construction phase.
You can either give us a call or visit our showroom to schedule when is best for you. We will then visit your home and discuss the kind of project you would like done! Best of all, we offer consultations free of charge!

Of course! All kinds of renovations can increase your home’s property value! For exteriors, retouching the paint or adding new landscaping can go a long way. For interiors, consider changing old carpets or upgrading out-of-date appliances. Modernizing frequently used areas such as the bathroom with new flooring and other technology can really elevate your home!
Every job will be different, so first consider the scope of what it is you would like to accomplish. We will work with you to give a clear and insightful breakdown of what the next steps should look like. You should also consider what are the more costly expenses to help plan your budget!
You can expect an estimate in just a few days to a week depending on the size of your project! We will email you the estimate and can also give you a call at your earliest convenience to help break down the details.
Once you receive our estimate and have gone over the details, we can schedule when best to start the renovation. Keep in mind that for certain projects that involve plumbing or electrical, you may need a city permit to begin construction. We at Nikka Home Remodeling can help you through this process in navigating the different city ordinances and requirements.
Also, if you need Nikka Home Remodeling to delay commencement of the project for whatever reason such as a planned vacation or simply being away for a weekend, then feel free to let us know! We will work with you for when best to start renovation!
Construction
Depending on the scope, the exact duration of a project can vary. We will work with you and communicate every step of the way. If there are any complications during a project that may change the expected completion date, then Nikka Home Remodeling will always communicate those changes with you.
We consistently take precautions to safeguard your home, including the use of protective coverings for areas and objects adjacent to the renovation areas.
Yes, you can! In such instances, a Change Order Estimate will need to be completed by Nikka Home Remodeling and then signed by you. Common cases include wanting to repaint a room after only requesting to change the flooring from carpet to vinyl, or wanting to replace the old ventilation of the exhaust fan in a bathroom.
You may still occupy your home during partial renovations. However for more complex, large scale renovations it may be necessary to seek accommodations elsewhere. Please consult with us for any concerns. If the renovation is for a bathroom and a temporary bathroom is needed in the meantime, then we may also be able to provide a temporary facility for use during renovation.
Costs & Payment
After both an estimate and a contract have been finalized and accepted by you via signature, Nikka Home Remodeling can begin commencement. Nikka Home Remodeling typically requires a down payment of up to $1000 or 10% of project’s total cost, whichever is lowest. After commencement, payment is then typically broken down into two payment installations: one during construction and one after completion.
